Papifredo
It all started in 1984. At the age of 11, Papifredo, then known as "Fredosty," discovered rap at the Chapelle neighborhood, where the big names of the time were already performing. Graffiti, scratching, and B-Boy attitude were the order of the day, and young Fredo was captivated, like many other kids back then.
In 1989, his thing was Rub-a-Dub. He honed his skills freestyling with his friends and laid down his first rhymes on cassette.
In 1992, he met Tepa, who introduced him to his brother, DJ Mysta D. This marked the beginning of the D.Abuz era. From studio work and concerts to music video shoots and radio freestyles, Fredo was learning from the best and progressing alongside Abuz MC.
